I was contemplating a big move a year ago from Boston to California. I couldn't decide if it was the right move for me or not. My mom died a few years ago, so I remember asking her if I should do it.

A few days later, I was doing some research on a company I was interviewing with out in CA. I googled the company name and the first name of the person I was interviewing with, and the third result had my my mom's full name in the heading. Her name isn't remotely related to any of the terms that I searched on so I have no idea why it came up! I took it as a sign that it was a good move. :)

Luckily I screenshot it because I haven't been able to reproduce the same results...

Sometimes I will be writing something...and the radio is on in the background, and I will write a word...and often it is word that isn't really very common, and as I write it, the person talking on the radio will say the exact word. Happens a lot.

Stuff like this happens to me all the time. Once just this week. Daughter and I were talking last Sunday, and I asked if she kept in touch with her old best friend from HS. Then we talked about friend's family and found out about that time the friend's dad died unexpectedly. We had not mentioned his name or even thought about him in decades.

Sometimes I think of a song I haven't heard for a long time, like one from the 60's-80's, and that day I hear it on the radio. My twin sister and I have things happen to us out of the blue at the same time. She is in FL and I am in CA. and we talk every other week and that is when we find out about the similar happening.

It happens to me a lot too... I like it! Makes me feel like things are 'planned' and not so random.

I experience it a lot too. Sometimes big ones, sometimes little. The latest little one was yesterday. I was talking to a friend on the phone, and used the word "brooch." I pronounced it "broach," and as I said it I realized I hardly ever use the word and hoped I pronounced it correctly. A half-hour later my cousin called. During that conversation she said, "I bought my daughter a brooch. I hope I pronounced that correctly. I hardly ever use the word."

I don't believe in coincidence, really. I think they all happen for a reason, even if it's just to send a message that we're on the right track.

I sit on the sofa every day/night listening to the radio or watching TV while working on my laptop. I can't tell you how many times I've typed a word here at the KT or in an email, often a very obscure word, and at the exact same moment hear the word spoken on the radio or TV.

Those are terrific stories. I haven't experienced anything like that, sad to say.

I've known my best friend Sue since we were in sixth grade. We now live far apart (she's in Canada, I'm in Long Island NY). One day I picked up the phone to call her just as she did the same. I din't even have to dial, she had dialed just a moment faster. I picked up the phone before it rang, she was already there.

Jannie, my daughters and I dial each other at the same time also a lot of times. Of course there was the dream I had about "Giggles" coming, or Alyssa as we know her.

A long time girlfriend whom I see once a year has had straight hair for many years. 2 nights ago I dreamed about her and she had shoulder length curly hair. This morning she called and she is in town and can we get together this afternoon. I met her at her hotel and SHE HAS SHOULDER LENGTH CURLY HAIR!!!

Go figure!!!

A few days after my dad's funeral my mom and I had to put his Corvette (his prized possession) into storage. We got in and the radio came on and just happened to be playing his favorite song.

Love these...Here's mine, from yesterday in fact! I was cleaning out the kids rooms. My older daughter had a "I'm a Big Sister" book that was too young for her and was going to toss it out. Then, I thought, do I know anyone that is pregnant, in case someone else could use it? But no one came to mind.

That night I got an email from a friend that she is pregnant (been trying for a long time) and has a 3 year old daughter, so the book would be a perfect fit!! I emailed her my congratulations and told her the story!

iammadeofdreams...ohhh, your story gave me chills, but I also think it was your dads way of saying he's okay!

I was going to say how often I am either reading something or typing something and at the same time I hear it on the tv. It's always a fairly uncommon word, not something you hear every day. It really weirds me out and then I come here and read that the same thing is happening to some of you. Maybe we should keep track of these words and see if it is a message from outer space.

Several times in my life I've dreamed of someone and then hear that they have passed away.
