Many, many thanks Elaine and Jerome for another wonderful time in the presence of you two wonderful people ( you are absolutely fabulous people). Thanks also to all you great garden webbers who shared so wonderfully of your plants and your knowledge. And what a great place to have a Plant Swap...surrounded by Elaine and Jerome's many beautiful gardens full of wonderful plants...many blooming with heads held high. What a joy it was to be there and share such an uplifting experience yet again. And with great gratitude...and a special THANKS...to all you Gardenwebbers. This time I brought two newbies to Elaine and Jerome's Plant Swap. They have just started their garden and were so excited. Thanks so much for sharing with them as well. They were truly overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness...and remain so excited. They spent yesterday planting and reliving the grand experience. We will see them again..thanks to all of you. The food was ..OH SO YUMMY too. hehe Fortunately I left with less than I arrived with...for the first time. Until I get my garden back in control..and the new area settled..that was the wisest choice for now. hehe So THANKS..again to you, Elaine and Jerome. OH YES..This time I took the river walk...So peaceful and lovely. Thanks for that too. *G* You have such a beautiful place...and your Plant Swap was a HUGE success...again! *G* MANY THANKS!!!!!

As usual, I had a great time. I always look forward to our swaps. I love talking to other "plant" people. Sadly, I was away for awhile buying shrubs for my new front landscaping project and couldn't talk to as many people as I wanted to. Thanks Ron for again making our swap so successful. It has really grown since we've been at Youngs. It's great to have new gardeners. I hope everyone enjoys the plants I brought because I know that I love the plants I get from everyone. My yard is full of them. I'm already thinking about what I can bring to our fall swap. Sue, I'm so glad you joined us; since you were recovering and had to drive a distance to get to Youngs. With or without your great plants, you're company is special at the swap. Hedy

I swooned over the coleus that I missed! Let me tell you. I'll keep you posted. Or if you want to email me your address I can add it to his list when I go for my mums this week. The events usually are on Saturdays, and include everything from Herb classes, to potting classes. Some with reservations, some without. He had a breakfast thing in June, July, and August. Open gardens were open for 3 days in July - and also coincided with the garden tours outside of Mercer for Victorian Weekend. Also there is an evening in the garden in July. Customer Appreciation day is do die for! Upcoming event is the 29th of this month. Fall clean-up and maintenance and garden tour. I love it because it's one more chance to see all the gardens and grab your last fix for the season! No reservations for this one. Cottage Gardens is also loaded earlier in the season. Think about if you want to do any small tours and trades when you come up. I'll be glad to set up something. There is also a smaller place around the corner from me that does mostly annuals, but the setting is nice to see. Also a local herb farm, which I've yet to see. I believe they are having a small fest this weekend.

Alexa, I saw this post way late. I had a friend when I worked at a bank in Southampton many moons ago. She came to work at 11 and always bragged about putting frozen meatballs in her crock pot with jarred sauce! They cooked on low all day and was ready at 6 when she got home. I went home with her one night and had them. They were delicious! I never would have know that they weren't home made! I'm glad they worked out for you!! Gina
