Baltimore Orioles in the garden

Tom

I don't remember ever seeing a Baltimore Oriole here in Florida before this year. For some reason a group of four or so have been visiting my garden and especially my hummingbird feeders for about a month or so. They are very beautiful birds.

The seem to visit the same plants that hummingbirds visit. I see them pecking at my Cape Honeysuckle and my Cupheas. For some reason I did not have any hummingbirds stay in my garden this winter. I saw one in December and none in November, January or February. I wonder if the very warm weather is the major cause for the orioles and the lack of hummingbirds.
