I'm also an Eagle Scout, a scuba diver, an amateur guitarist, into hiking and exploration, a collector of knives and multi-tools, an unashamed geek and techie, an artist (I'm studying to one day write professionally), and dating a (female) biologist who works with raptors all day, and that's just to name a few of my odd interests! He has no idea what he thinks of me, and that makes him uncomfortable. :P I'm not bothered by it. As long as he respects me and doesn't bother my things, he's welcome to think whatever he likes about me. BTW, the local florist in my hometown is gay (and makes no attempt to hide it) and everybody loves him because he's such a great guy. You might not expect that to happen in a (VERY) small southern town, but it just goes to show you that there are good people and bad people everywhere. You just have to hope that you meet more of the former than the latter. :)

I feed all year as often as I want. i feed a low dose through the winter thenup in come March. I use Foliage Pro and use 1/4 teaspoon once a week all winter. I was at the mall yesterday and was looking at some of the ornaments and was very happy for the bargain I was able to get at the dollar stores. I just dollar store hop. LOL Some of my coworkers were talking about tree decorations and I suggested the dollar stores and they laughed. That is until they saw the tree. LOL The livingroom was a long process due to stupid furniture stores. I am very happy with the way it turned out though. Well worth the aggrevation. I got some great ideas on placement over in the Home Decorating forum. It is very comfy and cozy. I saw those curtains and just had to have them. I started off with just the dark brown panels but then went back for the lighter color. The beads really help it tie in with the furniture.

Thanks so much Cory, like my avatar says when I embark on a hobby I am deadly serious about it! But I know I still have tons to learn and look forward to spending more time with you guys absorbing your knowledge. For example I just recently averted crisis I think. My citrus has been doing so well in my room that I recently moved in about 6 of my massive super hot container peppers thinking I could keep em going all winter. Major disaster almost occurred when an aphid infestation exploded and I am still managing it. I removed all the peppers and have been drenching every citrus in the sink a couple times a week with insecticidal soap and I think I nipped it in the bud luckily. Rookie mistake! Thanks Steve!
