Thank you so much for all the tips! I especially love the idea of antique brass lighting. I am definitely going to incorporate that . I found a new inspiration picture from the Rejuvenation catalog which I will try to mimic . It has black and antique brass lighting and black shelving with antique brass brackets . White subway tile with dark grout and black hardware. I will add wood type blinds of some kind and I love large end grain cutting boards. Also, the gold ceiling color is interesting! Allison0704: I did post a layout earlier. Some changes have been made since though. I am doing my half bath in black and brass, but it is only partly done . I gel stained my bathroom cabinet black, put a marble top on it and used antique brass hardware. I thought about doing some black cabinets in the kitchen but chickened out as I thought all white would be better for resale ( not that I plan on moving anytime soon. ) This is my inspiration picture for my kitchen from Rejuvenation that I found yesterday: My question is now: should I try to return my polished nickle faucet or will it blend ok? Went with a tile from Menards - Mohawk® Crafted Gloss Gray 3 x 12 Ceramic Wall Tile I wanted gray tile but it took awhile to find one that worked well with the tones in Karis. Paint we went with Benjamin Moore Silver Chain (1472). Should be completed in a couple weeks. Will post pic!

I would start by visiting local fabricators to find out where you can view quartz slabs in person. Quartz is manmade but that doesn't mean it is uniform or perfect, there can be variations in a slab that aren't visible in a small sample. Some brands (Cambria, I think) don't let you choose your slab. You can pick the style but not the slab, so if it arrives with unusual speckling or wiggly spider leg veining that wasn't in the sample ... it is still yours. That's why I suggest going to a yard with samples of your cabinets and your floor material so you can make sure they all work together. Good luck! Some people here are big proponents of Corian as well, I think that has a warm white in the lineup, too.

I think it falls in the middle allowing you to move it in either direction. It’s a bright white with dual color veins - silver/gold. We wanted a warmer kitchen and we’re able to achieve this by bringing out the gold/bronze with the hardware and wood floors. I think you could do same with cooler tones. The two tone color variation makes it very versatile.
