THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND VIKANE KILLED THOUSANDS OF MY PLANTS AT MY HOME NURSERY SPECIALIZING IN MILKWEED. Other pesticide applications are also killing them. I have all the documentation. VIKANE DAMAGE PICTURES ARE BEING BLOCKED ON THE INTERNET! I want to fight this, and looking for more people with pictures of damage this pesticide that was designed as a CHEMICAL WEAPON. My hair fell out, myself and my husband almost died and have had to fight for my life for 2 years after allowed to tent 3x next door in 12 months and then again one month later a couple doors down for 4x in 13 months! Look at this distinctive burn mark on my stems. There were other pictures like this on the internet and now they are gone? Saw them when typed in Vikane damage. Now not there? Just found this document that shows the damage when high levels of Fluoride are introduced and shows the same pattern I have on my big green leaves all over the place. Our house was fumigated three years ago (almost to the day) before we moved in, and so now I think we need to have it checked again - we probably should have done this last year. Anyway, packing up the kitchen should be a good exercise and will force you to go through items that may have been around too long. How big is your kitchen? Mine is on the small side with not all that much storage, and so I do not have as much food stored in it as I would if I had more storage space. There was no funny smell in our house after the fumigating - only the foul odor of dog urine left by the previous owners. We should have ripped out all carpet before we moved, but we only did that in Kevin's room, and we still have it in my bedroom and the guest room. How many indoor plants do you have? I only have half a dozen orchids inside that I have brought inside because they were blooming, but otherwise everything stays outside, and I have three separate areas for orchids out of bloom. I assume your plants are in big pots, or else you would not be concerned that much. You'll just have to make sure that none of them get too much light, especially during this time of year. Can you store them in your garage, or is that being tented also? I know your gazebo is pretty far from your house, and that may still get too much light, depending on the plants. Jeffrey above is talking about subterranean termite treatment which is different from drywood type termite treatment which is treated by tenting mentioned by chispa above. Different treatment for different types of termites. In our area, termite treatments start before construction by treating the soil before the slab. Also, we have both types of termites in our area. Find out what you have in your area. Sounds like your neighbor is treating for drywood termites. Find out from your builder about the preventative measures they are using on your new construction home.

Is this the only spot...What is above that ceiling another floor or attic? In any case, make sure there is no leak from above, if there is fix it, and spray the ceiling with Kilz primer and touch it up.
