That guy on the beauty team, he was in a yellow shirt and talking about how good looking he is- does anyone really think he's good looking? I think he's odd looking. And the guy who thought it was a good idea to pull off his shorts and use the water as his latrine? He went home, right? I hope do. That was rude and gross and so unnecessary.

I felt really bad for the lady with the ear worm. Why didn't her teammates try to flush it out for her? I would have been in the ocean with my ear under water. Poor thing!

Weaving palm fronds in the hot sun. Um. Really? Move to the shade! Seems so simple.

Flamey, I thought the exact same thing. I couldn't believe how he was going on about how attractive he is, I thought he was very unattractive. But I guess the girls thought he was a hunk. Yuck, I hate people who act like that! My question is that this is the 32nd (I believe) season of survivor. Why do people come on and talk, talk, talk, especially about how smart they are and then not be able to deliver? I'm talking about that older woman on the brain team. Just shut up and play the game!!! Don't put a target on your back. What an idiot--"I can start fire anywhere". Yeah, not! I thought the 70 year old guy looks like he is 20 years younger, too.

I said the same thing about the guy who thought he was so handsome, I don't see it. Maybe it's hidden I don't know. I kept shouting at the TV for the stupid women to get her head under water. Not one person had the intelligence to suggest flushing out the ear. I am afraid we have a lot of dummies this season. I am still concerned that ear worm laid eggs in her ear and she is going to have a bigger problem. Did you notice her eyes later they were swollen and bloodshot. Why didn't they get the medics involved?

The little gardener guy is awesome he can run circles around the younger people. His story just about had me in tears. I mean survivor should be a piece of cake compared to what he has already lived through.

Melt down girl is another example of stupid. Sit out in the blazing sun and heat and then complain about possible heat stroke. Good grief!

I thought using the water right in front of the camp as his private toilet was possibly the Supreme example of stupid. I was disgusted. They normally create an area in the jungle as the general latrine area not the water! I researched that last season and several people from various seasons all said that. Usually withwith a fallen tree to hide behind or use for support. They do supply the women with sanitary supplies too.

Boy, I agree with so many of your posts....I'm thinking we have a bunch of "dummies" on these tribes...And, for sure, why didn't they have the medics at least come and look at that ear. I think she's going to have big time problems....And to go in the water and do what he did, disgusting, I'm glad he's gone....And the old broad who kept saying she could build fire, all she did was talk, right??? Read the recap, Raven. They are encouraged to use the water for a latrine. Been that way since the first season.

I'm no expert, but it makes sense that poop from a dozen people, in a sea full of poop from all the sea life, wouldn't be a big problem, the way waste from millions is. It may be that they encourage it because the sea can handle it, whereas foreigners introducing new bacteria, etc., to the land could be a problem.

I'm still grossed out. I wondered why the tribe weren't, so thanks, Sushipup for telling us that they're encouraged to use the water rather than digging a hole. But eeewwww.

Yes, the right person went home. I've never snorkled or scuba-dived, but I know you're supposed to hang onto the mask! Even from watching Survivor where in past seasons people have lost their masks because they weren't sealed well or other accident. The brawn people aren't dummies, and they had a good chance to win if the lifeguard hadn't overestimated his skills.

Re the blond on Brawn, she said she had done all kinds of physical adventure travel. They obviously were going for diversity within the definitions. I think Tai is beautiful, but he's no Ken doll. :) And being a gardener, his job is beauty. :) I like him, but I think he's a bit too in the moment. I loved that he fessed up about searching for idols. But I was perplexed about him pulling up saplings, like they were less worthy than fully rooted trees.

I will think twice about using the phrase "put a bug in his ear".

I agree, Pllog, I couldn't believe he pulled those trees out after being angry about the machete to the tree. Never has Survivor hidden an idol under a tree that had to be pulled out. I would have gone straight for that big black burnt tree.

The guy who says he's better looking than most people...isn't. He's just very vain. Love the gardener guy but don't know why he is on the "beauty" team but he doesn't understand it either. Tee Hee! I loved hearing his story and I hope he shares many more stories with us.

I agree about the guy who thinks he's handsome. Not. The ear thing had me nuts. I would have flushed that ear with salt water till it came out. The guy who used the ocean in front of the others was just plain GROSS. I like the little Asian guy. More brains than all of them put together.

Yes, Survivor is a TV show on CBS. It's been on since about 2000. People are left in a remote area for 39 days with very little food, etc. They are divided into tribes and play games to get rewards or immunity. A person with immunity cannot be voted off that week when they go to Tribal Council. Survivor
