Help me choose shoes for my son's wedding...
Comments (28)After watching that Robert Duvall movie, I think it was called Broken Trail, and one of girls in it had bound feet, I read up on it. OMG. One of the reasons they bound the girls feet was so sick, it's not repeatable. If someone actually wore shoes like these, Gwanny, their calves would never forgive them. Those are just too weird for words! lol...See MoreI have a shoe question....wedding
Comments (14)Don't be afraid to take your comfortable and safe shoes along and change at some point later in the festivities - once you've made your appearance no one is going to care if you choose to put something on your feet more typical of what you would usually wear. I've seen brides not accustomed to heels with sneakers under their gowns mid-way through the reception:) You can't have your best time if your feet hurt and this is a day you should enjoy yourself - if it means not confining your feet to skimpy sandals for hours and hours and going home in pain, no one is going to mind you changing your footwear....See MoreWedding Pants Suit
Comments (23)Katlan, Boscov's is my favorite store. Got the dress I wore to my granddaughter's wedding at Boscov's. It'd been $120 and I got it for around $80. It was cute, fit and the price was right. Can't beat Boscov's. Plus I'm out of state so there's no sales tax. P.S. They have great sales on their kitchen items, too! Do check out Boscov's, declansmom!...See MoreAm I wrong to not want to attend my step-son's wedding?
Comments (74)I’m so glad you found peace Southern Summer ! I know it’s not the way we all visualized our blended families to be, but we had no choice but to separate & RE-gain our marriage back. I know that feeling & I am so glad your husband realized what was happening & found his way back to your marriage as priority & backed you, his wife, his future. I’m so glad to have connected with other SM’s who get it. Have a great day & keep smiling, there is a great life out here for all of us !...See More- 10 years ago
