Is the color anything like this (sorry, my unfinished front door is in shadow - but look at the top part of the house for more true color of siding)? Jan - Wow, you are lucky! Comments (1)Looks to me like he cleaned better in some spots than others. I have light blue vinyl as well, and my neighbor tan. Pressure washed them both this year and the blue shows it more but if you do not hit every sq inch the same way with the same pressure you get the white marks you see. Comments (5)Sorry, didn’t finish because I went searching for an inspiration photo. Consider painting/staining the clapboard and the shingles the same color. You will be staining the shingles and painting the clapboard (recommend B.M. Exterior Soft Gloss), so the finishes will show differently, but the color the same. It’s the fish scale shingles I find so fabulous…those I would stain lighter. Trim all white and your door stays the same. I know it is more than you asked, but give it some thought. You need not paint the entire exterior, Start by painting the clapboard the same as the shingles and going light on the fish scales.....See MoreLaroo
