These choices can be so overwhelming. I have a very similar setup. We hae ordered the Miele Oven with the Miele Speed Oven. Next to it will be the FD CD Electrolux Refrigerator. The ovens are ordered. We are waiting for the refrigerator without the ice in the door to start shipping. Our cabinets are due to arrive in January. For me function was MUCH more important than looks, although of course I want it to all look nice. Even baking of large quantities was important which is why we splurged on the Miele. Good luck

Off-white is more forgiving than white and black appliances are often used because some people hate stainless...check the FKB if you need some examples. Your counter top choice will make a big difference in how it looks. If everything is white, probably not so good. Soapstone? Just right. If it makes you feel any better, I remodeled with white white cabinets and kept my old black oven/microwave tower. Good oven, looks...well, it's hard for me to say because I'm so used to it. As long as your black appliances are standard sizes, don't fret. Recycle 'em. Change later if you hate the look. I also still have my old black fridge. It genuinely does look bad because it's a full depth 33" stubby fridge in a tall skinny counter depth hole. Covered with magnets and papers.

Just be aware, Uba Tuba is green, not black. It's really dark, but it's green. I think the stainless fridge will look fine with the black oven if it works with your overall design scheme. A fridge stands there by itself, and is tall and wide. It has a different presence than an oven, so it's easy to make it a different color. Which is probably why you thought of it!

@mamato3 - You're welcome. I understand not wanting to spend 10 grand or so on the SubZero. They are wonderful refrigerators but are very costly and aren't for everyone. However, I do think that since you do have some higher end appliances already, you would be best served by the GE Cafe series, and still stay in budget. The GE Monogram is also a nice built in/counter depth refrigerator, but although still half the price of a Subzero, is more expensive than the Cafe Series. Note that this is a counter depth fridge which I think is very important since you said there is only a small cabinet between them. A regular depth fridge would stick out way too much.
