Comments (7)Two ideas for your window: 1) white wood shutters; or 2) a roman blind in linen that matches one of the colors in your mosaic tile border. As for the mirror area I'd suggest installing those builder-type mirrors (the ones that stick directly to the wall) across the three sections, all the same height, and framing each section out with nice thick molding that matches your cabinets, so that it looks like three separate sections of mirror. I was thinking that if you installed mirrors only on the two sections under the lights, the middle section might look odd and lonely no matter what else you put there....See MoreCurtain for window over bathtub?
Comments (5)I have the same problem and prior owners had a mini blind for the 36" x 55" window in the shower. It worked fine but blocked light and got rusty on the bottom. I like the day light to shine through. Decided that the fabric liners used in showers these days is really nice and is coated to repel water. Water actually beads away. I have one in 2nd bath it is a real nice white on white stripe. I think I will make roman shade out of that....See MoreNeed help with over the tub window choices
Comments (5)That's a huge window in a bathroom that close to a neighbor's house. I like live wire oak's suggestion, or maybe there's something else you could do, like windows in sort of a transom position, up towards the ceiling. I understand the desire for lots of light in a bathroom, but if I were that close to my neighbor's house, I wouldn't really feel "comfy" in the bathroom even with a frosted or obscure glass without a window covering down. And that's coming from a person who has hardly any window treatments because I don't really care who sees what. Except in the bathroom, that's where I draw the line....See MorePhoto's of window treatments over bathtub
Comments (13)I have a problem of having the window over the tub and in the very front of the house. Since we have to have privacy, and I love to let in light, each day I have to climb up on our tub decking to close the three blinds. It has been a pain! I've though about putting up one long roman shade, so that I only have one string to fool with and can leave the blinds opened. Another option would be remote curtains, but they are expensive. One problem is that there is another window in the room that would need addressing to match the front window. You cannot see in this photo, but the vanity lighting is just above this window and the window also sits really close to the sink mirror, so hanging an addition curtain or shade in this area may be difficult....See More- 8 years ago
