Shouldn't I see signs of life by now?
Comments (3)George is right that recent weather can affect current growth. One thing that is also important is whether the plants are going to bloom. If a plant is only two or three years old it may not break dormancy until it is ready for new foliar growth which often comes later than inflorescence growth. Look into the middle of the crown at soil level and see what is there. Of course genetics is a factor too. Some plants break dormancy very early and some much later, even in the same environmental conditions....See More4 more questions before I sign the contract
Comments (3)1."I was told that I should get a tin plated copper coil. The coil that I'm getting is copper but not tin plated (Carrier 3.5 Ton Performance Series Cased N-Coil. Puron Model CNPHP4221). My rep said that the tin plated was only for high humidity areas. Is this true? Should I spend more money and special order one or am I okay with this one?" you want the tin plated "ATA" coil and tell dealer you are not paying additional cost. 2."Should the start date and approximate finish date be on the contract?" No, a waste of time. trust me, they want to complete job ASAP. 3." Under programmable thermostat, it's listed as a PS701...whatever that is. Should I ask for a Honeywell, and if so, which one? " An Infinity furnace with condenser without an Infinity controller is a complete waste! Infinity controller by all means. 4."When do they show you the Manual J/D?" you need to see Man J/D before you sign on the dotted line and/or give any ernest money/deposit. 5.I would not leave the tax credit lying on the table.ask about the Infinity 21 AC to qualify. Comments (14)Lesmis - what a great site - I am not a cow stuff collector - but there were several things shown that I absolutely love. They have a few large size cow figures that I think would work well to recreate that sign I like - Dilly Dally suggested that it might be easy to make one - and with one of these cows, I think it would be. What fun - thank you all so much - I ahve so many choices now !!...See MoreIf I see one more 'GOLD is the new GREEN' sign....
Comments (1)OMG! You definitely have a way with words. Lack of knowledge is the issue. When I explain that to people in person, I can see their eyes glaze over. They don't, or won't, get it. When I write it down and give it to them, it seems to make more of an impact. When I came to this forum I was in the camp that watered every day or two. I was convinced it was the best way to water. That kind of watering probably explains most of my problems in 35 prior years of lawn care. Nobody really talked about it until a lawn care pro from Phoenix visited the site. After some heated discussions, he convinced me I was wrong. In 2014 San Antonio went to watering once every 2 weeks. I was still able to keep the lawn green....See Morestanofh 10a Hayward,Ca S.F. bay area
