Plumbing Question: Fridge with water/ice door dispenser

One week ago a new LG fridge was delivered to our newly constructed home in a new neighborhood. (Upon delivery, I mentioned the water pressure from door water dispenser seemed a little low. I was told it was fine by the installer and my husband.) After a week, the in-door ice maker has made 10 ice cubes. After calling LG and phone troubleshooting, the tech will be sent out in the next few days. LG believes the water pressure is too low - husband disagrees. I've read about purchasing a "pressure gauge, that screws on a hose bib, with a tattletale needle that is very helpful at diagnosing that problem... Home Depot (Watts #IWTG) for about $11". Is this what I need to do to prove to LG my water pressure is sufficient and the problem is with the fridge? Thank you
