Now Billy Mays of OxyClean has died. :(
Comments (17)I could manage a little of his infomercials if I turned them WAY down. That habit of shouting when performing was indeed irritating. He didn't do that on "Pitchmen" - I rarely watched it for long because the subject matter didn't interest me that much but I caught a couple of minutes here and there while surfing. Both DH and I pretty much always watch TV with the remote in one hand though, since so many commercials come on blastingly loud - our TV has a doohickey in it that keeps volume levels consistent but our cable box defeats it. :-( (And now this is when the anti-TV people get to put their noses in the air and act all superior... *snicker*) The medical examiner involved in the case says there was absolutely no sign of head trauma in the autopsy and that cause of death was a simple heart attack....See MorePatty Duke Died
Comments (21)She was an amazing person. I remember being enthralled with her performance in The Miracle Worker (film) and then enjoying the Patty Duke Show. Actually, I thought the show was stupid but she was just so much fun to watch in it! I saw her in many things over the years and was always impressed by her performances. She struggled terribly with her mental illness, rising to the top successfully....See MorePrince Died
Comments (29)They just had a press conference saying it wasn't suicide. I read that Prince had hip problems and needed surgery. He had converted to the Jehovah Witness religion and wasn't allowed to have a blood transfusion. I don't think of Prince as a drug addict. He had aged too well for that. It's possible he was in severe pain. Of course, I read he died of HIV related problems and also he had epilepsy and the flu kept him from eating which triggers the epilepsy. Lots of rumors out there....See MoreDavid Austin roses free for the taking
Comments (13)Wat 3 I am sorry but I will not be sending any roses through the mail. I have enough local people that are willing to come dig up roses and take them away. Cassandra I am not sure I will have that many to give you but maybe 7. Lets see if everyone that says they want the roses actually comes through. I will reserve 7 for you and maybe when you come dig them up there will be more. They are looking a bit bedraggled right now due to the heart and Japanese Beetles but should start to bounce back soon....See More- 9 years ago
