Soup on the griddle?

last modified: 10 years ago

Well, sort of...

Last night, (the first rainy night in So Cal in ages), I made a big batch of chicken and vegetable soup.... Since there are only two of us here now, leftovers are a common staple for us...

Rather than re-heat on the simmer burner as I usually do, I decided to warm the soup on my griddle, which worked perfectly! I set the thermostat at 200* and the soup came to and held at 180*-185* for hours.

I love my griddle, it is so versatile! ...think beyond griddle=pancakes;)
