Which Bosch dishwasher is made in Germany?
Comments (19)More than just a few models are made in the USA, actually the majority are. Also the rep was wrong, some water softener models are made in the USA. The website clearly states which models are made in Germany, and it's only the very top of the line Benchmark series. The 800plus series, which is one step down, has nearly identical specs, so one of the main things that you're paying for when you step up is the "Made in Germany" label....See MoreWhich of these Bosch/Miele dishwashers will be best?
Comments (16)I went to the Bosch web site and I can't find any of the 300 series models you mention so I am not sure what they offer. It's not easy to compare entry level models of one brand with with top of the line models or another brand but you can compare price. You didn't list any models in the 800 series but this is their top of the line so that should be good. You did mention Miele Advanta, and the Inspira. These are entry level Models. I don't care for the Advanta although I know folks do have them and like them. I don't care for it because it has a different drying system than all of the other models. They have passive condensation drying which just lets the dishes sit and dry by condensation. The rest of the Miele models use a fan to assist this process which I think helps things dry better. Only MY opinion! The Miele Optima is the mid point in the line and It offers more flexibility in cycles, energy saving features, and loading than the entry models....See MoreCan you recommend a miele or bosch dishwasher?
Comments (2)Be aware that any cycle of 30 minutes or less will have compromised cleaning/drying on any brand. SHX68TL5UC - Bosch. 3 racks, has 30 minute wash and Speed Perfect option (will cut 30% of the time off any cycle without loss of cleaning performance) G6105SCSS - Miele. Has Express wash for shorter cycles or the Short option (formerly Turbo option) which cuts 25-30% of the time out of a cycle. There is a fully integrated version of this....See MoreHelp! Dying Dishwasher: Would You Recommend Yours? Why/Why Not???
Comments (60)I may just have a lemon with this current KitchenAid. I don't know, but I can tell you that the rusting has been extremely significant, and the repairs so far, very costly. But, it is so quiet that I have to put my ear to the door in order to see if it's on. I do love my KA French Door refrigerator with the freezer drawer at the bottom and no outside ice dispenser. No problems with that, other than the freezer drawer getting ice build up and clogging the drainage hole at the bottom occasionally. We also have a KA double wall oven, which is doing well still, with some recent repairs. This is year ten for all of them, and I am hoping the rest hold out for several more years!...See Moremama2kx6
