Comments (13)Fromage Fort is done - I can honestly say I love that I had the rosemary crusted Manchego to include, it lends a wonderful herby flavor to it. And I went with 1 clove of garlic, otherwise it gets really strong sitting in the fridge for a day or so. The Moody Blue will probably go on pizzette with caramelized onions tomorrow. I am having a few friends over (they were supposed to come last night, life got in the way) and I am making Ruthannas olive and anchovy bites too. OMG we will all be stinking to high Heaven with all the garlic, olives, cheese, anchovies, etc but we will be in good company so I guess it is okay. Thank you again for all the inspiration, I now have a trove of ideas what to do with left over cheeses! Alexa...See MoreWhat to do with leftover cream cheese frosting?
Comments (15)In the old days, my mom always spread left over icing on graham crackers, topped it with another gramham cracker, and stores them in the refrigerator for snacks. With 4 kids in the family, they did not make it through the day. These stickies never had a chance to cool completely before they disappeared....See MoreAny Great Ideas for Leftover Halloween Candy?
Comments (16)I posted the dentist link on my Facebook...what a great idea! However, ours will probably go to the shelter for battered women and their children here in town. I'm sure there are such shelters in many of our communities. Not to be holier-than-anyone-else, though.........likely, we'll eat our share!!!! :D...See MoreLeftover Scraps Idea
Comments (9)Wow, that is so cute! Very creative! I was saving my smallest trimmings for a lady in the quilt guild who uses them to stuff dog beds. But...I don't go to guild meetings any more, so lately I've been throwing out the tiniest stuff. (I was thinking of using it myself to stuff pet beds, but the wise ladies here pointed out that fabric scraps make heavy stuffing and it takes a very long time to dry in the dryer, so I scrapped that idea.) I have a bin of small scraps that I say I'm going to use for paper piecing and hand applique. Yeah...some day. LOL Donna...See More- 10 years ago
