LG HE TL WT5101- I am very happy - so far
Comments (37)Does anyone have a problem with smaller loads becoming unbalanced. I've owned the washer 2 weeks and have done approximately 15 loads and so far 2 have given me the uE error and extended the wash to rebalance the load. One load didn't recognize it was unbalanced but the tub was almost violently swaying side to side, the sheets were balled up on one side, and there wasn't enough water in there to move the clothes at all. This was only one set of queen sheets. I stopped the cycle, redistributed everything and the pressed the extra water button. It seemed a little better after this, but it's frustrating that I find myself needing to watch every load to make sure it's working properly. To me it seems the washer works better with larger loads, but does not work so well with smaller loads. Has anyone else come to this conclusion? Also, my washer has never had any jet spray action, where it's spinning very fast and the water is shooting from the top onto the clothes. Is this normal? Should I see this on every wash? Another issue I'm having is I was using powder detergent (only half of what is recommended by Tide on the box)...and after each wash cycle I stopped it and looked in the dispenser and over half of the detergent was still inside. This happened on every wash, cold, warm, hot, it didn't matter. I emailed LG and attached a picture and their response was to switch to liquid detergent. And my last question is, has anyone noticed the tub "creeking?" This started about 5 washes ago and it creeks like an old rocking chair. I can hear it from the next room with the door closed. I'm wondering if I need to have a service person come out....See MorePersil 2in1 liquid detergent
Comments (18)MamaP...still liking it. 3 loads now, and everything smells great, feels great, looks great and not a stain or mark in sight! I cannot use liquid exclusively, as I truly believe powders keeps our machines cleaner, but it's good to have something to play with!!...See MoreGreen Works detergent...So far, so good!!
Comments (9)So glad your having good luck with the Green Works Larsi. I didn't get mine yet but had to inform hubs about it because carrying it out of the store in my purse while he waits won't work, the jugs too big and will look weighted in my purse, pulling my arm down lol..it went like this...hon there's a new product on the market, Clorox Green Works and its specially formulated to keep cheap black work jeans from ever fading which means these jeans you insist on buying at walmart will stay black forever..he said..finially a detergent I approve of, next trip to the store can you remember to buy it.....LMAO of course I'll remember. ..haha....See MorePersil 2 in 1 not bad (so far)
Comments (6)Derrick...I've been told by people that use both the Euro Persil liquid and US Persil liquid that they both smell the same. I love Persil Mega Color Perls. I thought about Roaslies for my towels...towels can be painful to wash in a FL..but once I found one of my favs Tide with Bleach powder in the HE version I have no sudsing issues. I remember my first load with Persil liquid. ..days after the US release my son bought me think it was 3 huge spouted jugs...I used it on a load of sheets in a TL...suds galore and the scent gaged me. I've learned how to dose it since than and how to dose and what to not use it on in a FL...somewhere along the road to success with this Persil I learned that I love the scent. Its amoung my favorates. Too bad that by the time I learned all of this I had donated all but about 30 ounces...lol....See More- 8 years ago
