Persil 2in1 liquid detergent

So, we all know by now how much I loathe Persil (USA) Pearls (vomit, sour, rotting smell once laundry is dry and sits).
I was at the grocery store this morning, and Persil 2in1 liquid was on sale. Smelled it....smelled basically identical to Euro Persil. It was a good sized bottle for $9.99, on sale for $7.99 and then with my club card it was $5.99. What the hell, LOL.
Using it now. Measured to the lowest line. Large load of towels....3 big bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths. 120F. Seems VERY sudsy. Hope rinses are clear!!

Rinse #1....a little sudsy, but taking into account how many suds there were during wash cycle, not too bad actually.

Comments (6)Jmith, "So Tide liquid states 1,2,3 depending on load sizes so you are saying I should always use up to level 1 or less?" If you're doing a small load, #1 would be best not lower. Using less will not suspend oil and dirt to be flushed down the drain but ends up on the outer tub and gasket allowing mold to grow! Not only that, soils in the water will redeposit on clothing making items look dingy, dull or gray. "What you are suggesting is start low and check for slippery water during wash?" Yes! Always adjust detergent usage according to load size. You do not have to do this with every load. By your 4th - 6th load, you will know the balance of clothing to detergent ratio without re-washing! As for dosage for Persil? I have no clue because I've never ordered or used this detergent. Tip: If you are using Normal Soil Level and need to add more detergent do so after 5 Min's.. Comments (30)I've been told the Persil 2in1 and regular liquid Persil and Pearls smells exactly like Euro Persil. I love the scent of the Pearls original scent but I'm not crazy about the Intense Fresh Pearls. I also Love the scent of Persil ProCaps, YUM The Persil liquids original scents I've come to enjoy except the Intense Fresh which I don't care for. That being said they all do an amazing job of cleaning, for me. I think if I had to choose only one brand of detergent it would be Persil, original scents. Its a good thing I don't have to choose though LOL. I do however reserve the Persil for moderate to heavily soiled clothing and bedding, most of the time. Comments (2)A squeeze bottle sounds good. I just put it on straight with no dilution. I was using it on some t-shirts with set in yellowed pits that I was going to throw away and put it on with a tooth brush. It was the only thing that has worked on that. It was pretty amazing. My biggest problem when I used Tide was that it broke down some of the more fragil dyes in cotton shirts and would leave a lightened area. The Persil has gotten all my difficult spots (blood, cooking fats) out, even some that were set in without leaving a lightened area. If you want to spray you would have to dilute it quite a bit but I am not a fan of aerosolizing chemicals and then having them in the air so I would not do that....See More
