Comments (13)Stacy, I have more time now, and thus, here it is: I started by browning the brats, added chopped garlic, and carrot slices, then the chopped up cabbage simmered all for a bit, then added chicken stock. That's the stock I had at hand. simmered till the whole house smelled yummy... ;) I had one package of sausage, I think it was 6 a BUNCH of garlic, almost a whole garlic I think it was 4 large carrots and there were two heads of cabbage, and finally 1 container of chicken stock Hope this helps. Comments (13)lgmd....I totally agree with you. The new vanities with feet are the same height as a kitchen counter, adds 4". Then the bowl is another 6" tall.....then I pushed the sink back in the corner to free up counter space. This house is 4 levels, lots of stairs. Even the redwood decking is multi level. The person who rents this house will be in pretty good shape just to maneuver around the house. It's near a big park and creek trail. If a person is short...maybe a child, then there are two other bathrooms to choose from. My renters are generally just out of college, has a ton of tuition debt , new job with a big paycheck, a dog(running companion) and a cat or two(apartments won't accept cats or big dogs, but I will). 10 years agoNot my picture, but taken by local newspaper in Gadsden. I grew up going to the falls as a kid.
Crowds of onlookers gathered to take pictures and shoot videos of Gadsden's Noccalula Falls this morning, swelled by heavy rains and shooting steam into the air.
They received 20 inches of rainfall over a 24 hour period during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, according to the county's Emergency Management Agency

10 years agoWe've had flooding too. Not as bad as many of you, but enough. I haven't been out and about to see it, but these are a couple of pictures from the flooding we had this past March. It's the Ohio River overflowing it's banks.
10 years agoOur ponds are full. When I built my grandson's tree house in October, the upper pond was just a puddle on the deep end.
10 years agoWe spent Christmas Eve at Silver Springs State Park in Florida.
They still have the glass bottom boat tours that I remember from decades ago.
