Sugar Maple, Red Oak, Or White Oak for Wind and Sand?

So, the NH Nursery has their new order form up. I really liked the quality and price of their deciduous
seedlings from last year. Next year I'm
considering ordering a batch of 10 more. I'm trying to decide between
Sugar Maple, White Oak (Quercus alba) , and root pruned Northern Red Oak (Quercus alba).

The soil is sandy and rocky. Accordign to the interwebs it is "Merrimack Fine Sandy Loam", for what that's worth.
The trees would have to contend with a lot of wind, salt spray from
hurricanes once every 5 to 10 years, Japanese Beetles, winter moth,
*MAYBE* mild tar spot. Asian Longhorn Beetle isn't in the area yet, but
is in the state. On the plus side...no deer!

I'm torn because I think oak might do better in the area. On the
other hand I like sugar maple in theory, and the spot has good fall
color...I'm concerned red oak would mess up the Fall color.

This is for a row of trees maybe 30 feet from the road. Replacing a
row of dead Austrian pine, in front of a row of malformed "weed" cedar,
black cherry and maple that have good fall color but drop limbs
constantly.

Could you rank these trees in terms of how well they would do on this site, and how good their fall color would be? What would you recommend?

What the resident maples look like. We lost one in a storm, and the others keep losing branches

A picture of the site. They would be beyond the driveway.
