The sunlight shouldn't affect it. I can't think of any way that it would. "I have solid green and orange LEDs, " But that doesn't mean that they are aligned correctly and the slightest vibration could throw them off. They can be close enough to make the LEDS light up while the door isn't moving. Watch the LEDS while it is closing and see if they blink. Use a string or straight edge if you have one that is long enough, or you can also use a laser level. Using a string is easiest to describe, so I will use that example. I hope you can figure out my instructions! It's easier with two people but if you are doing it alone. Tie the string below one sensor and pull it over the top of it, then over the top of the other sensor. The string should lay flat across both. Adjust if needed. Then tie off to the side of one and pull across the other and adjust that axis also. Repeat step one in case the adjustment moved the other axis. I hope this helps.

Here is my problem. I replaced a malfunctioning remote. I followed the instructions to teach the code to the new remote. It worked but now my second remote, that had been working, won't work. So, I taughtit the code and now the new remote won't work. So, it appears that the unit will only allow one remote to learn the code. Has anyone had a similar problem or can anyone offer a solution? thanks, Daddio_2010

Sorry, Don, but I'm a little confused. Both little green lights on the two sensors mounted on 2 rails near garage floor are lit green, and seem to work, reversing decending door when the site line is broken. When door is coming down, but I then block the sensors, door goes back up and main light flashes 10 times. But I cannot get my remote to close the door even when there is NO blockage. So do you think I need new sensors or new sensor wiring, as was also suggested to me? But not a new receiver board? (I assume if the remote will always open the door, then the battery in it is still good, right?)

If the main light on the opener turns on 10 times when you try to close the door it is a sensor problem. Make sure the light on each sensor is on and not flickering.
