Driveway - Brick paver vs asphalt

Hi,

I'm considering a new driveway. I spoke to a company and they can do asphalt for $3400 or pavers for $6500. The driveway is 700 sq ft.

It's December now and the temperature ranges from 30s to 55ish in central NJ.

A few questions... is it ok to do asphlat now in this temperature? Same question with the pavers.

Would a paver walkway be a better option? My concern with paver is saging and growth in between the pavers. They would use some kind of polymer sand but I'm kind of skeptical on how well it would hold up after a few years. The warranty is only 3 years.

Can anyone please share their experience?

Many thanks!
