I saw "Creed" last week. It's the latest Rocky movie. I liked it and my niece, brother, and nephew, who were all with me also liked it. If you're a fan of the Rocky movies you'll probably like it too. Not a movie for deep thinkers, but entertaining.

I saw Creed last week and loved it! So great to see Sylvester again. Super movie.

Spotlight......a must see!

Liked Spectre a lot (Bond, James Bond). Daniel Craig makes me happy. Hoping to see "Brooklyn" tomorrow. It got a 98% good rating on Rottentomatoes.com.

Like grainlady I haven't been to a movie theatre in years. If I can find the time I'll get something I want to see from Amazon and watch it on my computer.

I've written before about the telephone pollster for a theater chain who gave up in frustration after asking me about the last movie I'd seen. I'd told him to wait while I asked my DH; came back to say it had been more than ten years, and we couldn't recall the title.

We usually have a lot of Masterpiece things on the DVR, supplemented by movies and (mostly British) series on DVDs that we get from our library, . The last movie we saw on DVD was "Testament of Youth" -- recommend it.

BTW, I see that "Home Fires" is in production in the UK with a second season. It will probably be on PBS in the US in late 2016. I wish there would be more of "The Village".

The kids and I saw Mockingjay II the weekend before Thanksgiving. Good movie, but we all read the books and saw the other movies. Didn't see anything interesting lately.

As most of the TV shows I watch are going into hiatus, I'm going to have to find some Netflix things to fill the gap. Gracie & Frankie is in my get-to-it slot, but not a lot else. Unfortunately, listed movies have too often ended up not satisfying. But I always like Geoffrey Rush, so I checked and found one I hadn't seen yet. Just added The Best Offer to the list!

Well, I'm with some of you. I haven't been in a movie theater for some years now. I too prefer watching movies at the comfort of my home.

I recently got my 1st blu-ray player. I also purchased some old but goodies Disney's animated movies in blu-ray format. Yesterday was my first chance to use the blu-ray player. I watched Cinderella which I haven't watched it years and years. Wow, it was like I had new eyes. The movie was so sharp!

I agree with someone else who said "Spotlight". It is outstanding.

Has anyone seen Joy? It may be just starting on Christmas Day now that I think of it.

I've actually seen Creed twice. My family went with another family over the Thanksgiving holiday, but my dh was out of town, so when he got back we went again. Saw Brooklyn the other night too. I liked both of these and you will need tissues for Brooklyn.

DS and DGS are going with a group of fathers and sons to the new Star Wars on opening day. One of the dads got a dozen tickets. (So what that it is DS's anniversary? LOL)
