How large was the pot it was in? How large is the pot it's in now? The crown also looks a bit too deep, it needs to be lifted up. It looks like overwatering from potting in a much larger pot than it should be in. When you pot up only go up one or two sizes depending on the size of the pot it was in. any pot smaller than 1 gallon should be potted up one size, any over, can go up two sizes. You can do two things, water less until the plant grows into the pot (which could be years) or pot in a smaller pot, either way, there is probably root damage I would go with the second option. Put it back into the size it was before and cut off any mushy roots and sprinkle rooting hormone on them, or if you don't have that, cinnamon. Good Luck!

The fact that the remaining leaves are standing indicates (to me) that you're overwatering. With these guys, before they yellow, brown and die, they will ALL fall over and point south, in my experience.

I would agree with Mentha that you would probably benefit from repotting. Just not sure you should do it now or later when it's warmer, since uprooting an ailing plant is also very stressful. I would, but this isn't my plant. :-)

Thank you both for your comments! It was actually in the same pot before I repotted it; however, I had to split it because the crown was too far out of the soil and the plant sections were all leaning towards the sides. The soil in the pot just stays damp for so long (weeks), that I think it is probably suffocating the plant; however, I am not sure what else to do with the soil, as I added a lot of perlite to my mix. That's why I am wondering whether the pot with the attached saucer is an issue.

The wet soil will be stagnating in the pot. You need to give it a lot of water to flush the root area and allow the water to drain away completely. If you need the saucer there to prevent damage to whatever the pot is on place some thing to lift the pot above any water collecting in the saucer. The plant will be better off in a soil that drains rapidly and that you have to water more often.

It needs to be in a much smaller pot.
