dchall_san_antonio needs a blog
Comments (4)It is spread around because I am a moderator on three forums. I like GW because it has a huge audience, but I don't like their way of banning people arbitrarily. I feel like I'm walking on pins and needles here. I was banned from a plumbing site once because I had an opinion about a toilet that differed from the guy's major sponsor. I have a little of that fear here. Websites are easy for me. I maintain the one for the compost tea maker that you are probably familiar with and another one for a local summer swim team that my daughters used to swim on. I don't know much about blogs. I don't mind repeating because I get feedback from more of a variety of people that way. Do you have a link to a blog that you like the format of? I don't know that I've ever been to a blog. Then again I didn't know I was using RSS in iGoogle until someone pointed it out. What's new? The only things that might be new are what I have changed my mind on recently. The first thing that comes to mind is my opinion on compost. I used to think it was highly important. Then I changed my mind on that to believe it was unimportant and a huge waste of money. More recently I have gone back to it being important but not for the usual reasons. I think it is important to have it on the surface of the soil to absorb both ammonia gas from decomposing protein and humidity. What am I up to? I don't talk about that. You can probably find me on Twitter but not on Facebook. I have accounts on both but the privacy settings on Facebook are better....See MoreRainwater Harvesting Workshop at ARE S.A.
Comments (1)Thanks for the info. I'm hoping that I don't have anything going on. We were just talking about this the other day....See MoreLinks from an undesirable site
Comments (5)The first thing I would do is find out who is hosting his website and contact them directly about your concerns. I would also contact him and ask nicely but firmly to remove the content and links from his website. Then I would place an "Attention" notice on your website that there is a website referring to yours and that unless it is otherwise stated directly from you, your site and its sister sites are not in any way connected to or supportive of any other site. I wouldn't mention the name of his site because it just might drive people to it out of curiosity. Good luck with that! As far as the hyperlink you asked about in your post; That Home Site has added a new type of advertising by selecting "key" words to use as links for adds. You can stop them by going to the Computer Help forum and on the top there is an "Opt Out" and you won't see them anymore, but new people coming here will. Guess its just a sign of the times so this site can make more money and atleast they did give us an opt out....See MoreCreative names.... new recipe cooking blog...
