I have the Grohe Ladylux3 pullout (model 33893) and I like it. It definitely doesn't feel cheap: the pullout works well and locks back into place when you reinsert, the switch from spray to stream is great, then single-handle faucet control works like a dream, and the faucet is really pretty. The only drawback: it is very tall, and as others have said it does splash if you put your hands in the stream near the faucet head. This is probably just something to get used to rather than an actual problem, though, and the faucet itself is great. I got it on ebay from Home & Stone and that was good -- shipped quickly, in perfect condition, and was about $100 cheaper than anywhere else. Good luck with the decision!

Thanks, Dianelouise. We're just giving our kitchen a "refresh", but I can't the amount of decisions involved in an entire remodel! We were at Lowe's last night and came across the Delta Victorian. The height is right, and it has magentic docking, but the handle is separate. That would mean another hole in the granite. How many is too many? We will have the faucet, handle, water dispenser, soap dispenser, and air gap. Will that look weird? If we go with the Blanco Silgranit Diamond double bowl, there is just a slight curve at the top. Do we just line all these things up at the back like little soldiers? I did see another thread discussing this, but they didn't seem to have as many objects. I believe it was Natesgram who posted a pic, and it looks nice and streamlined. (Does anyone know what faucet that is?) My DH is leaning towards the Delta because we can get it right away from Lowe's (for $230-ish, not sure why the website says $335). Now you're getting into the design aesthetics of the kitchen. How important is it for you to have that specific tap. If you plan on it being a show piece then you have to show it off and putting it underneath cabinets in a cramped position is not going to do it. If you want to show it off - then raise the cabinets which makes sense anyway, and put glass doors in them OR put some higher open shelves above the sink - maybe 2 of them. Then you are creating a focal point for the tap. If the storage is more important than the tap then I would suggest a lower tap to avoid the cramped feeling. But raising the cupboard level over the sink is a good idea to avoid bumping your head and the claustrophobic feeling which may develop.

I have Sensate and I have had it almost a year. The sensor is in the curve of the neck of the faucet. By raising your hand up into the curve, you will activate the on/off. It doesn't matter where you stand since the sensor is in the curve not facing you, per say. I can stand on the other side of the island to activate the faucet as long as my hand can reach to the curve of the faucet. My hose will go to the bottom of my sink and to the far corner of the shelf of stages 33. I have it center mounted. Once it wasn't behaving quite right. I checked and the plug had come out of the plug just a little because of the long hose hitting it. Once I re-seated the plug, all was well. The spray is very handy/powerful in preparing dishes for the dishwasher and sweeping debris to the disposal. If I cook pasta or potatoes, the heavy steam will activate the sensor, turning it on or off. To avoid that, just press the lever into the off position and there won't be any water until you activate the faucet again using the lever. There is a tiny indicator light on the hand lever that indicates sensor function is on and ready to go. I keep mine off unless I am cooking/cleaning. BTW, amazon has some Kohler on daily deals if anyone is preplanning.
