All the comments used to be in little grey boxes and now it's just really big letters and all white. Yea, I probably did touch something ;) And now in laymans language, how do I un-touch it?! No the back button won't do it.

The colors could have changed if you inadvertently change the colors your browser shows you or maybe something you changed on your monitor. The gray background is still there on my iPad. It's always been all white on my computer.

Did you try closing your browser and restarting it? Or restart the computer?

I am only seeing two options for views now, I am sure that there used to be three. On the main page where you see all of the topics, next to the Latest Activity drop down, do you see the two buttons? One has three horizontal lines and the other has two? Click those until you find your old view.

That's odd, I would have said there were more than two options also. Just to expand on what PK said, go back to the main Kitchen Table page. Let your eye run to the right past Latest Activity box and click on which horizontal box brings you back the page style you were used to....hopefully that simple.

Yes, there were three index view options and they got rid of the one no one used. GWers never did that format, and it doesn't work well for long threads or many threads. Instead of clicking threads from an index, the index and the threads were on one page.

Perhaps that change did affect Blfenton's colors, but I don't know why it would.

I agree it's changed. It changed for me the other day. If I cruise the forums on IE, I see TWO options without the picture preview option and without pictures. If I look at it with Firefox, I see the pictures, but still only two options for viewing????

Well, I turned it off and still no background grey on the comments section. Just nothing but white. I think this is something that occurred when the change over happened. Now I just have to remember how to fix it.

Are you sure it's not a browser setting? Did you try clearing your cache? When things were weird when we first got here, I played with some color alteration add-ons. Did you? My background has always been white so I can't test anything for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. Houzz suggested I choose them all. I haven't tried not selecting.

ETA: didn't see a done box. Maybe you did that before the change?

My pages looks a bit different now too with all sorts of "clutter" all over the page around the discussion.

My kids will be around this weekend so I'll ask them to see if I can somehow edit some changes here. Clearing the cache sounds like a good idea as well. I'll do that. I did play with the colour add-ons and so am wondering if they came undone - if that's possible.

Yes. Your color add-on can come undone if your browser updates and the add-on doesn't or something like that. Or you could have accidentally pressed a hotkey that did something unexpected. It's not highly likely, but it could happen.

Something else that is possible is that they could have changed the exact color number of the gray background. As I said, it still shows gray on my tablet, and white on my computer. If they changed the number, it might be on that looks white on your computer, where the other one didn't.

Good idea to ask the kids. Worse comes to worst, they can play with the colorizer to put it back the way you like. :)

Hi rob333, I did it yesterday (or the day before? can't remember). The "done" button was at the bottom of the "choose 5 to follow" screen.
