Comments (13)I deliver the flyers every week and I've received chocolate bars, granola bars and a small bottle of orange juice when I meet some of the people. THIS was in the customer's mailbox with my name on the package. I'm excited! And yes, it takes very little (obviously) to make me happy and excited. They are helping themselves to the birds leftovers. Saw a herd of 9 of these lovely creatures quickly move through the yard yesterday afternoon. 10 years agoSmudge went in for his regular checkup today. Every couple of weeks he gets blood work done to monitor his hyper-thyroid. Prior to him getting in the carrier, Roxie jumped in. I had to coax her out of it.
Smudge gained 2 lbs since he was diagnosed, and she doesn't want him to gain any more. He's doing great. But now she hears a heart murmur and his heart is racing so she's concerned about high blood pressure. If his thyroid is behaving and he gets to cut back or come off of that, and his blood pressure is still high, he'll be put on that. He also needs dental cleaning done, but at those prices, that's not going to happen soon!

The most inventive costume at our party this last weekend.
It didn't get it until I saw the broken steel cable and the caption on her back reading "Property of the U S Army" then I laughed out loud.
10 years agolast modified: 10 years agoI finally started riding the train. Nashville 's Music City Star is double decker and because it runs above ground in rural areas, blows the whistle the entire time. Toot toot!
