Exactly...the peke gets his pill in a bit of peanut butter at 8 pm..today he was getting antsy by 6...it was dark..(Southern Colorado)

I feel dog tired. Ready to hit the sack, as it is an hour later, and feels like it.

Oh my gosh I am exhausted. We drove home from Louisiana, it has been raining there, here, and all the way between. Then the unloading and putting away. And it was dark too soon. I am so glad to be back in my bed right now.

I feel like that right now! The clock says it's only a bit after 10:00 p.m. but it has been dark for hours and hours! I hate time changes.

Now there is talk of changing *permanently* to 'Daylight Saving'. Stats show fewer crimes are committed in the evenings, supposedly because more crimes happen when there's less visibility. (That was the rationale for Chicago installing those UGLY yellow sodium vapor street lights years ago.)

I wish the time would stay put, which ever one they choose. I am not a night person and go to bed as they say, with the chickens!

I don't like when it gets dark so early, and I think as I get older, it affects me more.

I feel exactly like that! I hate time changes. Just pick one and stay with that. I am falling asleep at 8:30PM, use to be 9:30PM, but have to stay up till 10PM to take the dog out. Her tummy clock is on the old time so starts barking an hour before her feeding time. DH wants to make her change to the new time but I say the He!! With it and feed her early. She is 14 so why make her wait.

Funny, I don't mind the time changes at all. I'm not a morning person and love late night. It takes me two or three days to adjust and then I'm happy. It's like jet lag.

I say the time changes don't bother me, and they don't, but my stomach just made me eat lunch much earlier than it was "time" for. I got looks from my coworkers, but I was thinking, "Tell my stomach it's not lunch time!".

My "body" stays on Daylight Savings time and I have a horrible time adjusting to the time change. I hate the time changes too and just wish they would "stay" on Daylight Savings time but I don't think that will ever happen. A friend had a good idea....change by only 1/2 hour and then "stay" with that all the time.

I, usually a late night/late riser kind of guy, was glad of the extra hour of relaxation/sleep on Saturday night.

I'd been rising quite early to attend a two-day series of money management presentations, seminars and displays in Toronto, 120 miles from here, mornings and afternoons, coming home on Friday night. After those two really early morning risings, my body was pleased with the extra hour to relax on Saturday night and have head hit the pillow early.

Tonight especially seemed really, really short. It was dark already before I was done doing chores. We had beautiful sunshine all day so I don't know why it got so dark so early.

I'd rather have one time year round instead of changing it every 6 months. Just pick one and stick with it. My body prefers standard time.

I dutifully reset all our clocks Saturday night before going to bed. I was proud of myself because I often procrastinate on chores like this, but this time I got 'em all: The 3 in the bedroom (one is on the phone), 2 in the kitchen, one in the family room in a clock radio, 2 more digital clocks, and two wind-up clocks, I was proud of myself!

I had a luncheon date with one of my former work associates today and as I was driving there, I glanced at the clock on my auto dash and it was, ... one hour ahead.

Ditto Fran. Night Owl here so doesn't bother me. Now the cooler weather is another story. Makes me lazy and i hate being cold.

I'm fine with the change in the spring. I don't do well with the change in fall. I feel like I have less energy with the shorter days. Last night I was falling asleep really early. I finally got past the sleepy stage and we were able to go to bed at a normal time. I hate the long, dark winter nights. When combined with cooler weather, I feel like I just want to hibernate!

Count me among the "just pick one and stick with it" voters! I like "falling back" much better than "springing forward"! Earlier darkness doesn't bother me. Bothers me when the dogs want breakfast waaay too early, though.

We have a son and his family living in Arizona, he's been there almost 15 years and says they have no daylight savings time and it works out fine.

I think only AZ and HI have no 'daylight savings' time changes.

When we go to Maui from Illinois it takes at least three days for my body to stop waking up before dawn.
