Small laundry room help

Erica L

We are remodeling our kitchen and replacing all of downstairs hardwood. While we are doing that I figured I might was well replace our laundry room builders tile with something nicer.

Well we will need to take out our icky utility sink and cabinet and I just can't put it back in. However, I'm trying to minimize costs so I don't need an elaborate design. I thought maybe you guys could help figure out best base cabinet configuration.

Details:. Wall is 60".

Sink base cabinet needed: 21".

Laundry: Hamper(s) needed

Upper cabinets: Right now I am not doing these but will eventually one day

Drying rod:. I hang dry a lot of clothes so I need this

Washer/dryer: FYI these are side by side on opposite wall

I thought of doing a base sink cabinet, tilt out hamper and then another drawer/cabinet. Quote from our semi custom kitchen guys was $1870 not including counter. More then I wanted to spend.

Next thought: sink base cabinet followed by two top drawers with open space under to house 2 square laundry baskets?

Picture as it currently is (note sink cabinet is 24.5" now):
