After reading your crochet hook idea, I had a very thin awl that I put in the hole, slanted it downward (with a little cloth padding underneath the handle to protect the finish) and pulled outward. . . it worked!! Monablair. . .tried that, but the weight of the doors wasn't enough to pop them open. Justusbarkers and Tropicals. . GREAT ideas!! If the awl (crochet hook wannabe) hadn't worked, your recommendations would have been nex. . and I'm betting they would have worked as well!! Thanks to everyone!! Comments (14)mikecowley- I disagree with the view that it isn't in Apple's interests to be helpful. My interpretation is that Apple is making it difficult for a person who can't prove that they don't have a stolen phone to get that phone activated. I prefer that position because it provides a strong disincentive to thieves, and that is in the best interests of customers as it provides all iPhone owners a lowered risk of theft and robbery. The OP's situation is unfortunate, because I believe her that it is a legitimately owned phone, but if Apple started making exceptions for all plausible stories then the value of their policy would be next to nil....See MoreCan't get to these garden forums on my iPhone
Comments (11)Just go to your browser's Tools list in the top right hand corner of the browser window, open the drop down list and click to clear the cache. When it is done then close the browser and then reopen it fresh. Easier to do on your computer than on the phone but then you'd have to power down the whole phone and power back up to get a fresh load of FF. Comments (29)Just checked and Chrome is up to date on my phone - wish that had been the issue. There was a time before one of the many Houzz updates when I could post from my phone with no issue. I don't remember exactly when that changed because I' don't regularly posted from my phone. If I manually type in gardenweb.com in Chrome on my phone it brings me to a combined page of posts from many forums with a note at the top GardenWeb has been updated for info in the new look and features please visit the FAQ. I tried typing a test response on one of those posts and was able do that without the words being erased - didn't try to post it since it was just a nonsense test. But when I follow my bookmarks which are all gardenweb.com addresses, they change to houzz addresses as the page loads!
