Comments (4)LOL Im sorry, its highly fragrant you can smell her walking by, upright bush about 3ft and I just got her a few months ago. Lightly thorny dark green foliage.Everyone else has a touch of BS but her. Not sure on the petal count. Angela...See MoreAny full height corner cupboard owners around?
Comments (4)The biggest issue with the idea is the acces. The door is much smaller than the cavity. That works for a step in type corner cabinet where you can fit through the door and so can the stockpot that you want to store. And it works with a piecut with a piano hinged door. What doesn't work is angled front with the single door....See MoreLooking for ideas for odd space in bedroom - any ideas?
Comments (14)Rob, if you have less than 30 1/4" between the two walls, it won't work for hairdrying. The user will be banging elbows into both walls. And yes, buyers will notice how narrow it is.. i know no women who sit down at a vanity to put on make-up. I certainly don't. It's a lovely, romantic thought, but not based on reality. The days of long, elaborate cosmetic rituals are long gone. As others have said, making this a make-up vanity will not update the condo, it will date it. My choice would be to make it storage or a spot for a pretty piece of furniture, as others have suggested. If you decide a sink is absolutely necessary, please improve the lighting. And change the flooring to something waterproof and cleanable! The thought of toothpaste on the carpet makes me shudder....See Moreneed help with curtain ideas and any other ideas would be very helpful
Comments (3)In open concept things don't have to match they just need to coordinate. Choose colors you want in the space and use them in varying degrees in both parts of the room. The rug you have under the table is too big for that space. I would move it into the living room part of the room but orient it the opposite direction. Center it in that space with the window and use it as a guide for furniture placement. You should have at least a foot of hardwoods showing on all sides. Art should be placed with centers at about 60". a grouping should be placed as if it were one piece. Color should be repeated around the room to keep your eyes moving in the space. Center the dining table under the light and lower the light closer to the table. If you do bring in another rug it should also be centered under the light along with the table.Try the table turned the other way. The room will feel less cramped if you can comfortably walk all the way around the table grouping. When I move into a new place I try different furniture placement out for a few weeks then change things up and live with another position for awhile until I find what works in the room best for my lifestyle. Looks like you have a great start. I also love saving money buying at thrift stores and online. Gotta love a deal....See More- 8 years ago
