I don't have room for houseplants. I could take cuttings of outside annuals like coleus.

Thanks Tammy and Ruth. We can be flexible and maybe pull this off before it gets too cold. I have only a few true house plants but hope to save starts of some yard plants through the winter too. Like my favorite ornamental sweet potato vines and the Homestead Purple Verbena I hunted for this summer.

Ruth , how cold does it get in your part of Texas?

Our winters are usually pretty mild. Normally we get below freezing a few times a year for a few days. The last four or five winters have been colder than normal for us. A couple of years ago we had an ice storm and some people got stuck on the roads for up to thirty hours. It's just too unpredictable to guess.

I have started some cuttings of my Rex Begonia and they are ready to go. Nice roots and several small leaves on each one. Also have Angel Wing begonias, my favorite Christmas Cactus..... Bloomed twice (spring and late fall) for the last two years. Burgundy leafed Oxallis with pink blooms.

I'm interested in other begonias,coleus, vines like Swedish Ivy OR?????

What are you other ladies looking for or hoping to trade before the weather gets too cold for these tender plants to be mailed?

Ruth I have Homestead Purple verbena. It survived the winters in MD zone & and might bloom almost all year for you. Also several colors of Impatiens but they are very tender

Just checking in while I have a chance we have had lots of storms and our internet has been out and so I've been trying to stay caught up by traveling to another town to use their internet but it has been down also a couple of times.

I have some christmas cactus, varigated aloe vera, bears breeches, and I'll have to look to see what others those are off the top of my head. Anyone interested in cactus I know it isn't a houseplant but I have some small ones I'd like to get rid of. I'll see what others I have.
