Do you wear underwear?
Comments (19)I've never had a problem with the Lycra blend underwear. It is very comfortable and really hardly ever shows panty lines. What kinds of underwear are you people wearing that show lines, creep, etc? For the few times a panty line may show, I wear a thong...which takes some getting used to (I compare it to a seat belt, hard to get used to but once you do it's not that bad). Regarding panty hose...Sorry, but I've been told by many guys throughout the years that they prefer my legs without hose (and I am not tan by any means). Nowadays, I would wear hose for ultra formal occasions, but generally, and/or unless there's a garter belt involved, I would think many men would be more attracted to bare legs in normal work attire. I really don't like the look or feel of hose even the sheer kind on my legs. Yuk! I'm so glad they aren't in fashion now. I don't think they enhance the look of legs, but rather take something away. You can't see as much of the tone or the highlighted part of the bone line in the calf as well because the hose evens everything out...leaving less definition. And, that definition is the part I think is really sexy on most woman. Obviously, I would guess at a certain age, hose maybe needed and that's fine, but heck, I really don't think that is until way later for most gals. Really, though, if you haven't tried the lycra/spandex blended underwear, give them a try. They work wonderfully on getting rid of the panty lines and creeping experience....See MoreOT: looking for cotton underwear catalog
Comments (10)I don't know about the 'feminist vibe' you mention or if the models are company employees, but this one linked below, is based on the East Coast, offers cotton slips, uses non-professional models (who appear to have aged over the years in their pages so they may be employees), and has that 'hippie' feel to the cataloge. There are a lot of all cotton underwear places on the internet that offer better looking items though, and for a lot less money. Comments (6)Some years ago, the mother of one of my older son's friends pulled me aside right before the boys went into middle school and said I might want to buy older DS some boxer shorts because that's what all the middle school boys wore, and when they changed for gym class, he would not want to stand out as having the 'wrong' underwear... (DS had spent the night there recently, so I guess she saw his colored briefs?) So I bought some boxers for DS (who said he hated them!) but then started wearing them anyway once he realized that's what 'normal' was... Anyway -- My point is only that at that age, the subject is likely to be sensitive, and wearing the same type of underwear the other boys in his environment are wearing might be important to him. And if bikini briefs are what your area's norm is, then that's probably the sum total of the motivation and thought process. (Any parents you could check with?) I'm a bit concerned though that bikini briefs may well *not* be the norm, and might, in fact, be different enough to stigmatize your son and be the kind of thing that gets him labelled 'gay' and gets bullying started. (Kids can be *so* cruel, and 'gay' seems to be the insult of choice for that age group.) Some kids are certainly more bully-proof than others -- But if your kid isn't one of them, I'd check to see 'what's done' in your neck of the woods......See MoreCrazy morning, and I realized the cause
Comments (12)Oh, yikes. My mirror at my vanity is large and clear enough I'm not likely to forget much above the waist. I did get home being out one day and took off a freshly washed black jacket, had a clean black sock fall to the floor, somehow I'd worn that downtown. And I never did find the mate, if anyone comes across a clean black Ralph Lauren sock, single, anyplace - please let me know. My goofs seem to involve my feet, not teeth :) I can't tell you how many times I've been halfway finished at the grocery store, looked down and found myself in my horrible scarred up ancient gardening clogs that I'd probably slipped into to take out the garbage or pick up the mail. And we'd spent a weekend in Portland one year where I'd run errands with my SIL all afternoon, gone to a couple of rather upscale stores, a bakery where she had run into a business associate, out to lunch. I was wearing a knit jacket and matching pants, my comfortable Brooks tennis shoes for a long day. Only when I finally got to our hotel and undressed for bed, noticed one white/yellow shoe, one white/blue shoe. The matching pair were a whole state away in my closet.... Jean, hope tomorrow goes better. Maybe an early bed time?...See More- 10 years agolast modified: 10 years ago
