Ibobi - nice design. I second the comment on the sheer descent or other water feature. Another thought - our pool is about the same size. I wish we had gone from 4' to 7', instead of 3.5' to 6'. I always thought I wanted more of a sport pool, but we spend most of the time down in the deeper side of the pool. Plus, if you have an active 11 yr old, you'll want more depth. I have an active 15 yr old who loves to jump in (now he's got this pool skateboard and he does tricks jumping in on that) - I truly regret not having more of a deep end. Never thought those words would come out of my mouth!!!! They're gonna jump, regardless. It's better to make it safer with some depth than having to reign in the jumps so much. You might also have to make some adjustment to how close the pool is to the covered patio, depending on building codes in your area. Maybe not if you're doing it after the pool and not getting a permit. Be sure to post pics of the progress.

Seniorgal, using Firefox and an older Win7 desktop, I found a 70 character subject line, followed by a box for my new thread. At the bottom of that, a clickable box Next. Clicking 'Next' took me to the option of having my post show in several different forums I think. No Thank You, I'm where I wanted to be and chose none of them. I believe the second step was Post and I had the post that I could not accomplish using IE11.

I've been trying to drum up more interest in that forum on the alphabet posts. And yes, I looked (and drooled) at all those lovely garden photos posted by gottagarden.

I would love to know if I could bake a batch of cookies or sew up some throw pillows, start a thread and show people my great work along with a link to my website. I would not put a price on the items. Just let people know what a great baker or pillow maker I was. If that practice is allowed, then how can we possibly have room for discussions? Mind you I think that would be a pretty lame way of advertising my wares- talk about not using social media properly- no targeting whatsoever. But clearly these people know as much about social media marketing as they do about architecture and design.
