Tenacity will do the trick or Q4 plus herbicide.. No. HD and lowes stuff is well not that good. Buy it online. Remember you get what u pay for. Yes the above mentioned aren't cheap..$50 and up but won't harm grass and is a sledge hammer to weeds.

Looks like Spruge and quack grass. Apply a pre-emergent like XL -2G or so in the spring. I use to do at my other property was in February apply it then again in April. Controls weeds all season.

Do do your self a HUGE favor don't buy the crap they sell at homedepot or lowes for pre emergant.. It sucks. I've spent more money buying different brands there hoping for results with little success. Yes it's expensive $95 for 50lbs but will last a long time and you'll thank me later!

Tenacity is a specialty herbicide and is not for novices. Weed B Gon, which you can find at big box stores, kills a lot of weeds. The best approach is to use that first and Weed B Gon CCO for weeds regular Weed B Gon didn't get. At that point if there are weeds left, find out what they are and what will work on them. For pre-emergents, I'd recommend Dimension or prodiamine. Where you buy them isn't important. I've bought Dimension at a big box store. Prodiamine is mixed with water and sprayed with a pump sprayer. A bottle will last for several applications. Dimension is spread with a spreader like fertilizer.

You can also get Prodiamine in granular form, sold as Barricade.
