Glenn, I see you're getting no help, so perhaps I can steer you a little. I had a new installation June 1, but it's a different unit. I have the Trane communicating air-handler, and the T-stat is their TCONT900, not the 602 like yours. That said, I'd advise you to try to get the installing company to get/give you the "Trane Installers Guide". I doubt the "Users Guide" will give you any clues. The installers guide will give you the access codes to modify the behavior of your equipment. In mine, the setup code for temp control in cool mode is 0690, for example. Default is #2, but set to #1 would give me "less aggressive" temp control. This may or may not be what you're looking for, but maybe it gives you an idea of how to proceed. Personally, I would be hammering on the dealer's door to have this corrected (I'm assuming everything is correctly sized for your home to begin with). Regards, Hal in PA

I guess this is stating the obvious, but have you called Asko customer service? You're within warrantee. I've found them very helpful in the past. If this is a control board or other electronic issue, you will certainly want to call them about getting it fixed under warranty.

I picked my battles. I did not stress over stuff that I could do better, as l_w_o says above. My spouse, however.... Lets just say there was a difference of opinion! I did request that they repaint the ceiling. But there, the blotches were really obvious and I had allowed them to fiddle with it as they wished before requesting the repaint of the whole thing. We have a couple outstanding issues still. My spouse still looks around and sees a settling crack here or a nail pop there and is aghast. I expect some of this so I dont get so worked up. For sure I would get that kitchen backsplash fixed. This other stuff idk. Good luck!

Several things here that are sub-par. A proper layout of tile would not have left that skinny sliver along the wall. To compound matters, the sliver they cut for that space is even narrower. And badly cut. Instead of re-cutting a properly sized piece, they then grout it in? That, and the missing tile, suggest that your contractor didn't have enough tile and tried to stretch it to the max, hoping you were blind. The gap is obviously due to a miss-cut. Too short. And the tiler obviously could see this before setting it, but chose to install it anyway. Why? Again, suggestive of a shortage of tile. And a contractor trying to see what you'll tolerate. On the other hand, this could be solely on a tile setter who wasn't supervised, and the GC hasn't even seen it yet. Bring it to his/her attention immediately. As for the molding, butt joints to seam a run are a bit of a shortcut. Caulk and paint should help, but a scarf joint is superior.
