Posting from my new laptop, was on sale for half price and the original price was very low. Still it is 3 times the computer as the all old ones, had win 8 and upgraded to win 10.

Don, I'm delighted that you got a new computer and that it was such a great 'buy'.

I posted, yesterday, about Ghandi's wisdom, and today's quotes are more evidence of it. The quote about "worry wasting the body" really hits a nerve in me--and makes me realize how lacking I am in my faith and trust in God.

Just read on The Weather Channel about CA getting rain; hope some of it got to you, Lilo, WG, and any other GPers who live in CA!

Simplicity is the base of all of Gandhi's wisdom, his life wasn't one of ease, but he lives his life easy and simple, why don't people think of him as a role model?
Don, happy you were able to get a decent computer and didn't have to brak the bank to do so. How is the weather treating SoCal?
We did have a smidgen of rain yesterday and are promised more tomorrow, then back to sunny and warm. Nights have been cold, I like that. Need to put an extra blanket on the bed. The fire has slowed a bit but still is only 10% contained. The figure is that 1000 people lost their homes, hard to wrap my mind around that.

With the dimensions you give for the blocks, I could probably figure something out about the total size, but I haven't the energy to do calculations like that right now and I wouldn't want to put you to the trouble of doing it, Red. I just thought you might know the dimensions already. Well, it's your project, but I hesitate to invest time and maybe money in something when I'm not sure where I'd be using it.

Hope some of the rain we are getting comes north. That would be a big help for the fire fighters Looks like Utah is getting too much, more devastation.

Don, so glad you got such a good deal on a laptop. I still have 8, don't know if I'll upgrade to 10, Let us know how you like the 10.

My computer could do better but right now my husband's laptop is the priority. There is just one thing wrong with computers, I end up spending more time on it than I should, always managing to go instead of a to be, to c, d,e, f and...........
