I did not feel like much, so this afternoon I had just a bowl of tomato soup and some saltines. I hope I am not coming down with what several have had lately.

Fridays are CrackerBarrel night....Iced tea, Grilled chicken Breast with Fried Apples and Pumpkin custard.

Greek Avgolemeno Soup made from scratch with lemons from our tree, accompanied by fresh fig salad and warm french rolls. Weird I chose soup night since it's 100 degrees outside and very humid from a tropical depression in the Pacific.

Chicken and cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans.

It was cloudy all day, supposed to rain any minute and never did.

Chicken chow mein...no noodles...just served over rice like mom made it!

Partly cloudy day with a late afternoon rain which we needed. After my husband's stent replacement we finished off left over shrimp scampi, fried okra and fresh orange cake.

It all sounds good. It was a beautiful day here -- wish I could have been out to enjoy it more. I had planned to get a take-out fish fry, but just called and they're out of fish! I have an eggplant, lots of zucchini and summer squash, tomatoes, basil, ..... I'll whip up something good and serve it with pasta.

We ate out at our favorite restaurant tonight. I had the cheese manicotti and it was delicious. Hubby had the lemon peppered chicken, baked sweet potato and corn on the cob.

I took thin slices of pork and coated with panko crumbs sprinkled a little home made spicy mustard sauce on it and put it in the oven, I also made some oven roasted red potatoes and a small salad. All very good.

Just bow-ties pasta with marinara sauce. It sure went down good though, we had the urge for pasta.
