Does this group still do Rosh Hashana recipe posts?

I know I haven't been around in a while, but I used to rely on you all for new and exciting ideas for Rosh Hashana. Can you help me out again?

This year I'm looking for some ideas for delicious veggie side dishes. Non-dairy and no nuts please. Some roasted veg are already on the menu.

What else is everyone making? It's all about tradition, so brisket and turkey breast, chicken soup, meatballs only if my kids insist along with round challah much sweeter than I normally make. Probably roasted sweet potatoes and mashed regular potatoes as well. We aren't sweet kugel fans, but I always make one anyway. I don't know why. It just doesn't feel right not to.

I have people bring most of the desserts, but always make one apple pie and one berry pie, mostly because I enjoy decorating the crust.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy year, no matter what holiday you celebrate.

Thanks!
