Would under-counter mounting a Miele combi oven harm a countertop?

I am considering getting a plumbed Miele combi steam oven. The only way that I would be able to do this though is if I can under-counter mount it next to my sink. The cooktop/sink portion of my kitchen is island-ish so I would be able to put vent holes in the back of the cabinet.

I'm going to have marble counters though. Besides the 'steam in the face' issue, is the hot steam going to pose a problem for my counters?

I find it interesting that Miele specs a vent in the cabinet and Wolf doesn't. Does the Miele oven emit a lot more steam than the Wolf? Or does the Miele emit it out the back and the Wolf out the front?

If I could have my way, I'd mount it on my appliance wall, but I can't dig a drain over to that wall because I don't have nearly enough spare wood flooring to cover the trench they'd have to dig. Bummer.
