Paint color and carpeting to go with teal couch?
Comments (9)Do you want to match the teal or do you want a color that coordinates with it? We have a couch that is a med.-dk teal. We have a very light beige/cream colored carpet and I'm in the process of painting the walls a very light subtle peach. I originally thought I wanted a light shade of teal, but was afraid it might be more teal than I could handle for very long...and I'm not into repainting frequently, lol! The color is a Behr color called Peach Fade that I had mixed in BM. Depending on the light it comes off as a very soft subdued peach or sometimes a creamy offwhite/yellow. I didn't want it strong enough that anyone walking in would see the walls and think 'peach' if you know what I mean. My floorplan is very open between the formal living, dining, and family room so I needed something that gave a bit of color yet served as a neutral and the peach tone is working well with all those rooms and furnishings....See MoreHelp Please- Wainscoting Color with Dark Teal Cabinets

Comments (20)@Condo Association Hi, yes I did! I LOVE my teal wall! It is Benjamin Moore Jade Garden juxtaposed against Sherwin Williams Alabaster. I did not follow the advice of these professionals in this chain who told me I should get my decor first before picking a color. I still haven't picked my new bedding but I'm sure it will all look fine when I do. I won't be inviting professional designers into my bedroom to nitpick how the undertones of my bedding and walls match lol. I have gold lamps which look great against the teal and the white juju hat also provides nice contrast. I say go for it!! Color is such a fun and easy statement and I love how you can be bold with it. I repeat, this is super old bedding and I have not replaced it yet because I am focusing on other areas of the house first in terms of decor. Room decor is not complete. I got my new guest bedroom bedding yesterday and put it on my bed just to take a look at it (guest bed mattress and frame have not arrived yet....will iron, don't worry)...See Morewall color dark teal rug..help..paint sale ends today
Comments (7)Is that too many blue rooms near each other? You have one bedroom gray and this one you want blue. what's the big deal? why do you think it matters if bedrooms are painted in 'too many blue shades' ? it's perfectly fine. If you had 8 bedrooms, you could paint each one a different color in the crayon box and it wouldn't make a bit of difference. look at what this designer did w/all the colors in this Dream Home. He has red, blue, gray, green, teal, aqua, and brown, in the bedrooms/baths and office. oh, and orange in the laundry room https://www.hgtv.com/sweepstakes/hgtv-dream-home/2021/hgtv-dream-home-2021-tour-pictures if you like tradewind and it matches everything, then paint the walls with it....See MoreKarenJ Warner
