Sort o' red-faced (and uncooked, I assure you) ... that I don't know any answer to what's unique about a lobster ... and have enjoyed a number of your answers (as usual). Haven't learned to take your questions/answers too seriously, jassy ... so not troubled if they turn out to be flawed (and I wouldn't be aware of that, most of the time). Not sure where Jim got his answer that they prefer being eaten cooked rather than raw ... maybe it relates to being rather like the frog that doesn't feel bad about being cooked when the water is heated slowly, or by degrees ... but shouldn't someone tell the lobster that they usually get dumped, holus-bolus, into a pot of boiling water? Maybe, even so, he'd prefer that to losing a chunk of body at a time, while still sentient ... probably would hope that they'd bit his head off first. (Have no idea what the females might prefer, either). (Can a male who charges for his services be called a "fee-male"?) ole joyfuelled

Having been a manager in a technical industry for over 20 years prior to retirement, my experience is that many people shotgun online applications and don’t even read the basic qualifications. (Oh, the stories I could tell you about the applications HR had to weed out.) So that would be my answer...apply for jobs they actually qualify for. (Edited to clarify per the question) Almost all jobs require online applications, at least in our industry. And none required cover letters. Follow up calls were made to HR only.

Guess I need to learn to like chili dogs! :^) Actually, that was an educated guess because I've spent a LOT of time over the last 10 or so years researching many forms of cognitive impairment and dementia. I lost my husband to Alzheimer's Disease. I've only ever seen pictures of gondola's, never the real thing, so I have no earthly idea about color. Nor did I know there was a law about it. I'm on a roll recently guessing which answer someone else has given is the right one. :) There's that ring of truth thing... I'll raise Blfenton one -- a book is so much better on the face than getting bonked by an iPad!

This one has me stumped. Fall asleep sounds right, but not quite enough that I'd bet on it.

Thinking average rather than city or country, and inspired by Rob's move, I'm going to say:

Eat their dinner. At least that's what it seems like to me. It takes forever to make, and it's gone in minutes.

I'll also say order off the menu.
