Pantry moths!

Just a vent. We got a slight infestation of pantry moths from some birdseed my husband brought in the house. I was vacuuming them up where I found them and cleaning cupboards. Well, we've had a run of really hot weather here plus been spending a lot of time at the new cottage. This weekend I came home, grabbed a jar of nuts out of the pantry and screeched! Moths in my snack! Moths all over the pantry! It's so disheartening, especially since it's like 100% humidity here and hot as blazes (almost noone in NS has A/C since it's only hot for two weeks in August). I've taken all the food out of the pantry, tossed anything boxed or bagged and done a complete scrubdown - now to start scrubbing the rest of the kitchen. Just about the last thing I want to do on a scorching humid day (or any day, really).
