Help! I want to save these babies

I just bought these plants at lowes a few hours ago since I found them on the clearance shelf. (I wonder why ) and they all look like their dying or not so hot. 3 different one. One is a tropical pitcher, a purple pitcher and a Venus flytrap. The tropical pitcher looks as if it "drowned" in water and is dying or dead. The Venus flytrap looks like I will be able to save it and the only one that looks rather "safe" is the purple pitcher. They came in their little "box" terrariums but because of their "looks" I assumed they needed sunlight. For now I put them under a normal light bulb that is strong, just a few inches a over them to see if that helps till morning when the sun comes out. I checked to see if they were "moist" and they are. So I

ave not added any water for now. I'm new to these types of plants and have no idea how to help them. I've included as many pics as I can of how they are now and hopefully someone can advise me on what needs to be done. Thank you.

Just plant 'em. Bergenias are incredibly tough plants, but sodden potting soil does few plants any good and typically leads to root rots and other fungal issues. No spray - just ordinary, well-draining garden soil in their intended location.

I only saw a couple of hosta and a LOT of poison ivy. Don your heavy gloves and dig the hosta out and plant it somewhere "clean". Then go and clean out all that poison ive and next spring replant the hosta if that's where you want them Bottom line, dig out the hosta you want to save and then dig or Round Up the bad weeds. i'm happy that you were able to free the snake neohippie, and i'm very glad to have the info- thanks! and just fyi (everyone); the very fine black bird netting will also trap snakes- they can't back out of it. i discovered a beautiful one hanging dead in my berry patch. -and it traps birds too, so check out the piles of netting you have in sheds and garages and put it in plastic bags. i found this out the sad way one summer long ago and have never used it since. min

Put some branches to cover it. The mother bird will probably return. It is more or less not true that birds will desert the nest if you handle the birds....however, I don't know about interfering with the nest. If she does return....stay away from the area completely and it will be less likely that she will leave.
