I think it's a matter of personal preference and it's not wrong to mix them if the diffence in their "warmth" doesn't bother you. And I think that sconce would look amazing in polished nickel! I have a similar situation in my guest bath. We already had chrome faucets and I really wanted the lights in polished nickel. I have to admit, I would prefer my polished finishes to match because I worry that they are similar enough that it looks like I just couldn't quite get it right. I recognize that is my issue and that most people probably wouldn't pay as much attention. Here's a photo of one side of the double vanity. It's a pretty bright day out today so it's hard to get a photo to show the difference as it is IRL. We're finishing our 10 1/2 month masterbath reno this weekend and, after taking a month off to regroup, we're going to take on this bathroom next. It will be a much lower budget project and some of the same elements will stay... including probably my mismatched finishes!

Thanks brickton. That was my first thuoght as well - but I was at the plumbing supply/bath showcase yesterday and they thought the polished stainless was too dark for the chrome and the color was off. Interestingly, or not so, they did not have a faucet in either of those finishes. Seems the polished stainless is primarily used by Kohler for shower grab bars. Holding the chrome to those seemed to confirm the colors were a bit off. There was no brushed stainless in the place to compare to though. Kohler makes their HiRise faucet line in those finishes so I may search around to see if I can find one in a showroom somewhere. Anyone else have an idea on the finishes of brushed stainless or polished stainless please chime in. Maybe someone who has the HiRise series. Thanks much.

I'm not saying I want to spend $200 but would if I need to in order to get a nice one that is good quality. I've seen many Labrazel priced much higher. The one below is just over $300. I'd be thrilled with just a nice quality white one for $20. I was asked my price range and hadn't thought about how much I would pay so threw out that as a general price I would go to but not a hard line. It depends on how much I loved it etc.... i would like the kind where I can keep the tissues in the box. i like this one but not sure that it is white white. I like the York one but some mixed reviews on it. this is the Skyros one I really like but they have "distressing" that I don't want. Not as evident in this pic. Otherwise perfect - nice quality and simple design.

Have you tried to contact the manufacturer's Tech Support service? That's probably the best place to start. While a variety of devices have operating systems that sit atop a linux core, each is different from the other and the user interfaces are as well. Unless you're going deep into the bowels of the software, access to which is usually blocked, familiarity with using an Android phone isn't going to be transferable to a PC running Chrome linux, a specifically developed flavor.
