Please help me identify houseplant

hello please help me identify this houseplant. it is in a hanging basket at Home Depot and none of the employees could help me identify it. the tag just says foliage and I have tried looking through tons of pictures without being able to identify it.

Peperomia obtusifolia?

Not 100% sure,but that's the vibe I'm getting from it.

I could be wrong,but that's what I'm going with for now.

yeah i'm not sure either. the tag just says foliage, which I just love (saying it sarcastically) that they just label it foliage and you have to google a million images to try to identify what type of plant it is.

The first one is an umbrella tree....a schefflera.....spelling?? The second one is.....I believe a yucca tree, and the third is called a madagascar dragon tree, yes the draceana family.....very cool, I have the umbrella tree, and the madagascar dragon tree, I dont have a yucca yet, but a similar corn plant....lol

The first plant is a tradescantia fluminensis, wandering jew family. I have one too and it grows like a weed, I got mine a few months back as a clipping, and already have a couple full pots. Sometimes the green gets some variegation of white, and it looks really pretty. Here is a link that might be useful: tradescantia fluminensis

Thanks! I think it is indeed Pachira aquatica which apparently loves moisture so they can't have been overwatered? They're not in styrofoam cups but 10 inch tall white pots but with no drainage which I suspect is the problem. I will repot as suggested. Thanks again for your help.

I should have mentioned, check into the misting of this type of plant, I think if I remember correctly it's one of those plants that likes humidity, sitting on pebbles in a tray of water rather than misting. I'm glad we were able to help with the identification, I know when I have a plant and don't know it's name it drives me nuts until I find out what it is LOL. Do you see why I arrived at peperomia obtusifolia though?

Do you think I'm off by a bit?

Won't hurt my feelings if you think I'm incorrect in this assumption. :)

I think that we are all thrown by this plant because it's in such bad condition. It has either been over or under watered and the leaves are less than fully turgid. THAT'S what is throwing us off, I believe.

Just from first impression I get Peperomia obtusifolia from it too. I don't grow these anymore due to my epic failures many years ago so that's as much as I like to think I know.

Compare to P. orba & japonica (synonym of P. blanda,) both part of EA's lineup.
