The slideshow is very nice, but I can't get to the rest of your album. What are the names of the daylilies in the slideshow? That's an especially nice clump of something with a rosy eye.

Those are nice pictures, so the link works, but really needs the names of the daylilies we are seeing. I use Picture Trails and can post one link at a time, but I have to preface before posting the link the name of the item I'm linking to. It's a pain, but there are just some pictures that I can't access via the Houzz browse and post method.......Maryl

Oh dear. It should be public. I uploaded several more but the names should have been with the pic. I guess I remember now why I disliked PBucket. So Maryl, how are you using Picture Trails? Your photos show up in the post if I remember correctly so which code are you using to post and how are you doing it via Houzz/GW? I wonder if Picasa would work the same as PT. PBucket was taking forever to load too. Let me see if I see have my Picasa login info and if there is a way to post from their

Julia, the link tells me it is private. I so looked forward to seeing your photos. I have not had any trouble loading photos. I am currently taking pictures with my iPhone and loading with the camera/photo button here on Houzz. Photos load directly from my photo files. I hope you get things fixed.

On Picture Trails I just go to the section of image URL's and click on the appropriate one and post it as a link here on Houzz. I haven't tried posting multiple links, so don't know if I could post more then one image per header. This is a picture of a Lycoris Radiata explosion in September using Picture Trails.

As far as posting directly on Houzz I just hit the photo icon at the bottom (NOT the houzz photo icon just the plain photo icon). It pulls up my windows photo album and I select the photo and post it........ I sure hope you get this worked out......Maryl

Hey all. I just spent 2 hours with Microsoft Tech support and still no resolution. Remotely he ran all kinds of things, I showed him what was happening on this site with both Firefox and IE and the message. He ran some more virus scan thing called HitMan or something like that which showed no virus on the computer or in some hidden area. However, my case has now been upgraded to Level 2 Support which means the engineers will get involved now. At least they are trying to get this resolved on my PC. I'm still wondering why this site and no where else. I'm exhausted. Thanks everyone. Tomorrow I will be back and try to figure out something else. My brain is fried. Have a good evening.

Could you explain to me exactly what is happening? If it is just one site, that doesn't even sound like a virus issue at all. It sounds more like a compatibility issue.

I use Flikr and Shutterfly, so I'm not very familiar with photobucket. However, a quick search shows that Photobucket uses Flash Player, which is a common but very problematic program.

One thing to try: In Firefox. go to your addons and see if shockwave flash says it is outdated [it is updated constantly so it is easy for FF to get behind]. Even if it isn't, you can uninstall it in add/remove programs, do a google search for Adobe Flash, download it [unchecking any extra programs they want to give you] and install a fresh copy. Sometimes there are multiple copies of flash installed so the uninstall could really help.

Also, download and run the free version of CCleaner-- https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner , & run it. Sometimes computers and browsers get loaded down with junk files and work poorly.

Brad: Thanks but the only site I cannot upload a photo directly from my computer photo library to Gardenweb is this site. All plugins are up to date as well as Microsoft updates. It happens if I use either Firefox or IE. I even did a 'restore' to a date before the issue showed up. HitMan Pro is what he used last night along with another scan program but I can't remember which one it was. I also used based on Firefox support recommendation the list below before I contacted Microsoft Technical Support to talk with a live person vs using the Microsoft Community forums. The Microsoft Community response was going through several methods but when I posted back my results from that, I never got another response. I guess they got stumped too. :( I think my computer is so squeaky clean from all the scans. Last night the tech from Microsoft actually takes control of your machine while you watch onscreen and you can chat with them at the same time. I think he did everything he could do to eliminate the obvious issue, ie virus and also ran a trouble report . Tomorrow night I have a call back with a Microsoft Engineer (Support level 2) to see if they can fix the issue. I'll see what they find or if I get pushed up to level 3. My husband says maybe when I get to level 5, Bill Gates will call me ;0.

What happens when you try to upload a photo to Garden Web from your computer? Is there a message, or nothing, or ?

Two other things to try if all else fails and Microsoft cannot help: get help from Houzz or try an alternative browser. I use Comodo Ice Dragon [which is built off the same source as Firefox, but more secure]. I have also used Comodo Dragon which is built off the same source as Google Chrome only more secure.
