Is there a way I can visualize/plan bathroom reno options? HELP NEEDED
Comments (7)If you go to your local tile showroom I'm sure they will help you pick all the materials and recommend the right sizes etc. As far as visualizing it all, the most simple way without getting any crazy software, is to use power point. I make visual boards all the time on Power point by just cutting and pasting the items I'm using. You can format the pictures to remove the background and at least get a sense of all the finishes together. This one is super simple, but allowed me to see the wainscoting, flooring and wallpaper....See MoreNeed help with master bathroom Reno! How to work with fantasy brown?
Comments (1)I would suggest a white-colored wall like Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. To avoid browns, I would suggest something like Lifeproof's Capitola Silver vinyl plank flooring. It's a bit difficult to advise you on shower walls without really seeing it in the bathroom, but I think that although simple, a simple white subway tile would look good too. It's not a bathroom photo, but this photo has a similar color scheme: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sxsrf=ALeKk026zjXFxQW0aZfeUFY_gPdzmgznaQ:1596727362594&q=phenix+determined+carpet&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&tbs=simg:CAESuAIJMYup_1jak1CEarAILELCMpwgaYgpgCAMSKNAFgQHOBeEChRKmHZkS4gKDEs8F5iflJ_1o16iftNd4p6yfsNecnxyEaMKb4UugbIjkE7QsbnZE60dnL4Dhuw5j2CJVr4uIqa1H1PZJVd3Z-vO6FKhnhF5621yAEDAsQjq7-CBoKCggIARIEyEby6gwLEJ3twQkapAEKFwoFZmxvb3LapYj2AwoKCC9tLzBsN184CiEKDXdvb2QgZmxvb3JpbmfapYj2AwwKCi9tLzAyN3hobTAKJAoRbGFtaW5hdGUgZmxvb3JpbmfapYj2AwsKCS9tLzA0eHZzMAogCgxzdHVkaW8gY291Y2japYj2AwwKCi9tLzAyNnFibjUKHgoLbGl2aW5nIHJvb23apYj2AwsKCS9tLzAzZjZ0cQw&fir=ZMLgHbxeArw7PM%252CbI39ePEQZRoE_M%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTZKK0J9pKwqA1ormePM8FpT3HK-A&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwicjID68IbrAhVYrZ4KHcU0DAsQ9QEwBnoECAgQDA&biw=1920&bih=969#imgrc=ZMLgHbxeArw7PM...See MoreHelp with bedrooms/bathrooms reno plan
Comments (5)Cut those TEN foot closets back to two foot deep reach ins. Configure however you like, considering door access. A four foot section all shelved.........the rest double hung, etc. You are sucking a full two feet of the rooms with bulk, not needed, no real advantage. If the goal is to improve the closet issue, i see no improvement : ) with the 4 x 10. Change the door to the en suite bath, to a pocket At any rate,,,,you can do quite a lot with TEN feet: You might even consider centering entrance door on bed 02, and closet both sides of entry., Putting the entry door in line with stair....See MoreFirst reno, help! 60” or 72” vanity in smallish main bathroom?
Comments (7)Think about how you and your family will move around the bathroom. With a 72" vanity, there will be around 34" of space between the vanity and the wall for the toilet and a trash can. While it's enough space to accommodate these items, it might feel a bit tight if you need to navigate around someone using the vanity. The 60" vanity would provide more clearance, allowing for easier movement within the bathroom....See MoreShanna Aldridge
